How does it work?

  • Step 1: First, select the type of device, and click Save. This will provide you with an email address that is valid for 3 days. Save the Alarm Link as it will let you get back to the same device if you leave the page.
  • Step 2: Set your device to send alarms emails to this address. You should set the SMTP Server address to TestMyDevice.SureViewSystems.com or
  • Step 3: As emails are received and decoded, you will see the results. Up to 15 emails per device can be received.

If your device type does not appear in this list, but does appear in the main Test My Device list, then it may not support sending alarms by email. Please review its support page for further information.
